So, now that I have a fancy new blog, and I can post work as soon as I'm done with it, I've been motivated to get some stuff actually finished and posted! Here's a 3D illustration that I was working on about a year ago. I was close to finished with it before I got sidetracked with whatever happened to distract me at the time. So I spent the last few evenings finishing it up. It's a pod racer type vehicle, loosely/initially based off of some concept art by Doug Chiang. Modeled in Max, Rendered in Maya, terrain done in ZBrush, assembled in Photoshop.
